Modes of the harmonic minor scale

In this e-book we look at the modes of the harmonic minor scale that are very special and beautiful sounding scales. When we harmonize the scale we'll find some spicy dissonant chords. This is reflected in the modes of the harmonic minor scale such as the Locrian natural 6 mode, the alien sounding Ionian #5 mode, the Arabian sounding Dorian #4 mode, the Egyptian sounding Phrygian Dominant mode, the Lydian #2 mode and the disconnected sounding Super Locrian bb7 mode. The last one is als known as the Altered diminished scale or Ultra Locrian mode.
