Quartal harmony and quartal chords

Quartal harmony sounds modern and ambiguous and you’ll find it in Jazz, Fusion and Progressive Rock. Once, it was the answer to the traditional tertian harmony to move away from functional harmony that was common practice in music in earlier times and also in our time.
