The Super Blues scale

Probably your first steps in improvising were using the pentatonic scale to play some easy Blues licks. Very soon you added the blue note and it started to sound better and better.

In this e-book you will learn about a more sophisticated scale that is build on the pentatonic scale, but it’s a much more versatile scale and is a mixture of colors that come from different improvisation concepts.

That scale leans on chromatics and is often refereed to as the super blues scale.
Whether this is an official name or not, many call it like that to give a name to this remarkable, conceptual scale.

It’s important that you are familiar with the use of the pentatonic scale and that you have a basic understanding of intervals.
